Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative. Transfer to The African Tulip Hotel or equivalent in Arusha for an overnight stay with breakfast. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore the city.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, embark on your journey to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast population of elephants and diverse bird species, making it a haven for birdwatchers. Enjoy an optional night game drive to spot nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, dik-diks, genets, civets, and more. Overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or equivalent.
Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park
Depart Tarangire and head to the heart of safari in Tanzania, the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti offers incredible game drives and a chance to witness the iconic wildlife migrations. Check in at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or equivalent for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Central to Northern Serengeti
Embark on a full day of game drives in the northern Serengeti, near the Tanzania-Kenya border. Witness the thrilling wildebeest migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals cross the crocodile-infested Mara River. Enjoy the spectacle of nature. Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp or equivalent.
Day 5-6: Full Day in Kogatende Area with Hot Air Balloon Safari on Day 5
Explore the Kogatende area with expert guides. Experience a hot air balloon safari on Day 5 for a bird’s-eye view of the wildlife. Witness the dramatic wildebeest migration and the diverse ecosystem of northern Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Sayari Camp or equivalent.
Day 7: Northern to Central Serengeti
Return to central Serengeti and enjoy more game drives in this iconic national park. Check in at Kubu Kubu Tented Camp or equivalent for relaxation. Capture more wildlife moments. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Start your day with game viewing in central Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Descend into the crater early the next morning to view wildlife on the crater floor. Explore this unique ecosystem. Dinner and overnight at Simba Safari Lodge or equivalent.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning wildlife expedition. Marvel at the “Africa’s Eden” and its diverse wildlife. Depart in the late afternoon for Arusha. Overnight at Natron Palace Hotel or equivalent.
Day 10: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
Spend your morning at leisure, exploring Arusha or visiting cultural attractions. Optionally, explore the town and visit the Cultural Heritage gallery and curio shops. Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
