This scenic drive will take you to the southwestern part of Uganda, crossing the Equator along the way. During the journey, you will make a stop at the Kayabwe Equator crossing point, where you can participate in a fascinating water experiment and capture memorable photos. Afterward, continue your drive, pausing in Mbarara city for lunch. Finally, arrive at your reserved lodge within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

DAY 2: Bwindi Forest National Park – Morning Mountain Gorilla Tracking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Begin your day with an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a pre-tracking briefing, where you’ll receive essential guidelines for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. Setting off on this long-awaited journey, your ranger guide will provide valuable insights into the wildlife and surroundings you encounter during the trek. The highlight of the day is, of course, the opportunity to observe the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You’ll have a full hour to observe, photograph, and marvel at these incredible creatures. After the trek, return to the park headquarters to collect your certificate, enjoy lunch and refreshments, and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Here, you can relax while canoeing and indulge in bird watching.
