Day 1: Arrival in Kampala City

Day 2: Kampala City to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha Sector) – Evening Game Drive

Begin your day with an early morning breakfast at the hotel. Your adventure kicks off with a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you’ll make a stop at Kayabwe, the Equator crossing point, where you can witness the fascinating water experiment and capture memorable photographs.

Continue your journey, pausing for lunch and refreshments along the way, as you traverse picturesque landscapes, encounter herds of Ankole long-horned cattle, and enjoy breathtaking views of rift valleys, gorges, tea plantations, and open woodlands. Arrive at your lodge located in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in and relax before embarking on an exciting evening game drive through the Ishasha sector, renowned for its iconic tree-climbing lions and abundant wildlife. Spot elephants, topis, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, and buffaloes. Return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise, Evening Game Drive

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast and then venture into the Ishasha sector once more for a morning game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for the famous tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. After this thrilling experience, transfer to the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In the afternoon, embark on a captivating boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. As you cruise, encounter numerous hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along the channel’s banks. Land mammals like Uganda kobs, buffaloes, warthogs, and elephants also visit the water for a refreshing dip. After the boat cruise, take a moment to relax before embarking on an evening game drive along the Kasenyi and Queens Mile trackers. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Departure

After breakfast, pack your bags and set out for an adventurous guided chimpanzee tracking expedition in Kalinzu Forest Reserve. Explore this lush forest habitat, home to an array of flora and fauna, including chimpanzees, our closest relatives. Marvel at the diverse array of trees, shrubs, and primates, such as olive baboons and red-tailed monkeys, that call this forest home. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the chance to spot some of the 378 bird species residing here, including the Great Blue Turaco, Black and White Cascket, Cuckoos, and Sunbirds.

Following your thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience, take a short break to rest and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your return journey to Entebbe International Airport, where you can catch your flight home or choose to spend an additional night in Entebbe Town.
