Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Drive to Kampala City
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our friendly company representative and driver guide will warmly welcome you. You’ll be transferred to your selected hotel in Kampala, where you’ll check in and receive a briefing about your upcoming safari. Depending on your arrival time, you may embark on an evening Kampala city tour to explore historical sites such as the Uganda National Museum, Twekobe Kabaka’s Palace, Amin Torture Chambers, and Old Kampala Mosque. Day 2: Kampala City – Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Then, embark on an exciting forest walk guided by your UWA ranger. The duration of the trek can vary from 30 minutes to 8 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Along the way, you may encounter various wildlife, such as birds, black and white colobus monkeys, and more. Spend a magical hour observing and learning about the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the information center, collect your tracking certificate, enjoy refreshments, and return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking – Evening Batwa Trail Experience

Later, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, where you’ll enjoy a serene boat ride. The lake is renowned for its stunning scenery and numerous islands. Arrive at your accommodation on the lake’s shores, enjoy dinner, and relax.
Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi – Morning Boat Ride – Return to Entebbe International Airport
Start your day with breakfast and then head to the meeting point for a canoe briefing with your local guide. Embark on a 2-hour canoeing adventure that will take you to Akampene Island, known as Punishment Island. Learn about the island’s history and significance in the Bakiga community’s culture. Return to your lodge to collect your luggage, check-out, and start your journey back to Entebbe International Airport. Along the way, enjoy lunch before reaching the airport, where you’ll conclude your 6-day adventure.
