Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Drive to Kampala Capital City
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our company representative will warmly welcome you. You’ll be transferred to your selected hotel in Kampala, Uganda’s capital city, where you’ll check-in and receive a briefing about your 7-day safari. If time allows, you may embark on an evening Kampala city tour to explore historical sites such as the Uganda National Museum, Old Kampala Mosque (Gaddafi Mosque), the Kasubi Tombs, Kabaka’s Palace, and Amin’s Torture Chambers. Day 2: Kampala City – Lake Mburo National Park – Evening and Night Game Drives

Keep an eye out for lions, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, elephants, and other wildlife. Your journey continues southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
On your way, you’ll drive through the Ishasha sector, located in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to search for the famous tree-climbing lions. Have lunch and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, known for its mountain gorilla population. Check in at your selected lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

Today is the highlight of your safari as you embark on a magical mountain gorilla trekking adventure. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park’s information center for a briefing on the guidelines and rules for gorilla trekking. You’ll be assigned to a specific gorilla family group and set off into the impenetrable forest with experienced guides and trackers.
The trek’s duration can vary from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you find the gorilla family, spend a maximum of one hour observing, taking photographs, and learning about these incredible creatures. Return to the starting point, collect your trekking certificate, have refreshments, and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, known for its stunning scenery and islands. Here, you can unwind, go canoeing, and birdwatch. Dinner and overnight at your lodge by the lakes
